Meet the Team


Ed Rothschild, President and Owner

Ed is owner, operator, mentor, nickname giver, educator, hydrogeologist (in a former life), innovator, and leader. Ed has owned and managed three AlphaGraphics Centers since 1996 with his wife Robin. He is a DMA Certified (Direct Marketing Association). Ed and Robin recently were honored with the Franny Award (a top honor in the franchise community).

History lesson

In September of 1996 Ed and Robin opened their first store in Arvada Colorado, not far behind they opened the downtown location in November of the same year. Through hard work and pushing industry boundaries Ed has been able to expand his support team and employee base to over 30 employees. The third center opened in 2006 in Golden, Colorado.

Prior to a life devoted to print, marketing, and the glory of all that is digital, Ed served as CEO of Geraghty & Miller. He earned multiple degrees, double Bachelor’s in zoology and geology from University of Vermont, a Master’s degree in hydrogeology from the University of Wisconsin and an Executive MBA from the Kellogg School of Business.

Ed is a proud community advocate, volunteering a great deal of time and money to several local organizations including the National MS society, Foothills Animal Shelter, and serves on the Arvada Planning Commission.


Rich Cloke Jr, Center Manager-Downtown Denver

Center Manager, Rich is the Center Manager for our location in Downtown Denver. He began running presses while in high school in California and has continued his career in the printing industry for well over 30 years. He started with AlphaGraphics in Arizona as a press operator and was soon promoted to store manager. Rich has also worked at AlphaGraphics’ corporate headquarters providing support for centers as well as being a quality systems auditor. He has been the downtown center manager since moving to Colorado in 2003. Rich’s vast experience in the print industry has helped our downtown center achieve new heights. Rich is extremely client oriented and can often be seen at his center working on projects on any given weekend.

John E. Thomas, Director of Sales and Marketing

Director of Sales and Marketing, has over 25 years experience in sales and marketing. John’s contributions have been integral to the success of companies including Marriott Hotels, United Express Airlines, The Quantum Companies, The Hertz Corporation, American Express, Rio Grande Scenic Railroad (Colorado), Copper Spike Train Excursion (Arizona), and the Mt. Hood Railroad (Hood River, Oregon). His vision and effective team building management style has led to company and industry leading innovations in customer acquisition, integrated sales and marketing, strategic planning, strategic partnerships, SEO, web development and other technology platforms. His peers commend his integrity, ethical initiative and effective personal leadership style

Kyle van Zyl- Production Manager

Meet Kyle our Production Manager. Originally from South Africa, he     moved to the US in 2003 where he began his life as a Denver resident. Kyle started with Alpha Graphics as an intern in 2009 after graduating from  CCD with a degree in Graphic Arts. In 2011 he was hired as a Graphic  Designer and also ran our large format and production at the Downtown  Denver location. In 2014 he was promoted to production manager and  has since moved to our Arvada location.

Maggie McCutchan- Marketing Coordinator

Maggie is Marketing Coordinator for our Arvada, Downtown Denver, and Golden centers. As a Colorado Native, Maggie comes to us with a Bachelor’s degree from Colorado State University, and has a diverse background in online marketing, and brand development. Maggie is dedicated to collaborating, building, and creating marketing strategies specific to our clients wants and needs. In her free time, Maggie enjoys spending time in the outdoors, watching sports, and spending time with friends and family.
